Before I (Soup) even start this tag I would like to give a big warm thank you to Athena over at Everything Everything for tagging us in this! *mwah*
Now as I am sure you do not want to read me babbling on an introduction…. Let us begin!
Where do you like to read and why?
hmmmm…. Everywhere? *I can’t say that can I?*
I wish I could say something normal like my bed or couch but in all honesty my favourite place to read would by far have to be my wardrobe…
I swear it sounded much less weird in my head but I have a built in wardrobe and if you climb up to the top shelf and just curl up there with a good book you will never feel like coming down…. It’s just so peaceful up there (and plus if anyone comes in, it is the perfect place to jump scare from… 🙂
Why do you like reading?
How do I even begin to answer this question…. I feel as if Sam answers this better than I ever will…
I mean at this rate who wants to be living in our world when you can delve into another completely different world in a completely different body where you can effectively avoid society for a few precious hours….. in short it’s pretty cool
What book is your childhood favourite?
Without (almost) any doubt, hands down it would have to be ‘James and The Giant Peach’ by Roald Dahl.
I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned this before but I absolutely fell in love with the book when I first read it (sometime in 2nd grade i believe) and I would go as far to say that it is the book that kickstarted my reading addiction…
When do you like to read and why?
I do not really have a preference of when I like to read… Honestly if it were up to me I probably wouldn’t do anything else… Whenever I get time I like to just pick one up and get started (this usually happens before bed though, not good if I actually want to get a sufficient amount of sleep).
What book stands out the most from the rest in the last 6 months?
I regret to say that I haven’t read an awful amount lately (blame schoolwork if you must) but one book that I thoroughly enjoys and am in fact re-reading is ‘Six of Crows’ by Leigh Bardugo.
The writing is just outstanding and I cannot wait to read the second book! I am sooo excited!
It’s holidays (Or nearly holidays), what do you plan on reading?
Yes! The holidays have arrived! (mwahahahaha *cough* *cough*) and I am currently reading the Harry Potter series because for some odd reason I hadn’t before now… (I know!) I’m actually really enjoying them so far (more than I thought I would) and I am ‘siriusly’ regretting not reading them earlier….
I wuv you!
What are you reading right now?
As mentioned in the previous one I’m reading Harry Potter and am currently reading the ‘Chamber of Secrets’ (I know…. I’ve got a bit to go).
There we go! What’d you think? What would your answers be?
Feel free to tag yourselves in this one if you feel like you want to do it!
Moving on though Tj and I would like to tag (if you wish to do it):
and anyone else who wishes to do it!
- If you could swap places with one book character (no matter the gender, nationality or creature) who would it be and why?
- What’s one book that’s always stuck in your mind as a really good read? (doesn’t have to be your favourite)
- How did you get into reading?
- Say you could write or rewrite a movie script for one book which one would it be?
- Who is the best villain you have read about in a book?
- Pick a ‘side character’ in a book that you would have liked to read in the perspective of?
- List 3 reasons why you are awesome… (because we all know that you are) 🙂
